How to use Interval Schedule Coverage Analyzer

Treat every interval as half-open[start,end). A sorted endpoint sweep updates coverage at coincident boundaries and emits selected constant-coverage segments, then merges adjacent selected spans. Offset-equivalent timestamps represent the same instant.

  1. Enter json labeled explicit-offset intervals, required coverage for threshold mode, gap horizon start iso, gap horizon end iso.
  2. Choose the stated convention and check the units and supported model.
  3. Calculate, inspect the result, then copy or download it.

Good to know

  • 1–1000 JSON rows [label, startISO,endISO], labels at most100characters; positive analysis spans at most366days. Gaps require an explicit finite horizon. No calendar import, recurrence expansion or offset-less local-time inference.
  • Runs locally. Text/JSON fields are capped at30,000 characters; stricter page-specific and numeric-string limits also apply. Numeric inputs are bounded to magnitude1e15 and nonzero magnitude at least1e-100 unless an exact-string mode states otherwise. Approximate summaries use12 significant digits; CSV numeric cells retain the complete stored value and potentially formula-like string cells gain a protective apostrophe; unsupported, non-finite or detected underflow states return an error.

Common questions

Do touching endpoints count as an overlap?

No. With half-open intervals09:00–10:00 and10:00–11:00 have zero shared duration, although their union is one continuous span.

Is the input uploaded or saved?

No. The tool calculates inside this browser tab and provides a local download; it does not persist your input.
