How to use Local Flashcard Study Queue

Practice retrieving an answer before revealing it. Enter a small original deck as plain question/answer pairs, work in source order and choose Remembered or Review again. First-pass misses appear once more at the end, while the evidence records self-marks rather than pretending to grade understanding automatically.

  1. Enter your own question and answer separated by one tab on each line, then Run.
  2. Think of the answer, select Reveal, then self-mark Remembered or Review again.
  3. Finish the bounded second-pass queue and export self-mark evidence if desired.

Good to know

  • 1–100 nonblank single-line cards with exactly one tab per line; at most 20,000 Unicode scalars in the deck and 1,000 per side. One trailing newline and CRLF line separators are supported; embedded tabs/multiline sides are outside this profile.
  • Original source order is used. Each first-pass miss is appended once; a second-pass miss is recorded without another loop. At most 200 presentations occur. Reveal is required before marking.
  • Self-marks are subjective. This is not automatic correctness, SM-2 scheduling, an Anki import/export compatibility promise or a guaranteed learning outcome. Answers are hidden in the panel until Reveal, not encrypted from someone inspecting the page.
  • Only plain textContent is used; no authored HTML/media is loaded. No deck, progress or answer is uploaded or saved automatically. Reset/new Run/page exit clears the queue; downloaded evidence can retain private prompts.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

Does Review again create a future spaced-repetition schedule?

No. It places that first-pass card once at the end of the current local queue. The tool keeps a short transparent practice session, while a future dated repetition schedule is a separate task.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
