How to use Document Language and Direction Auditor

Locate language syntax problems and missing direction metadata in source before testing pronunciation and layout. The tool never guesses the language of prose or applies a full bidirectional algorithm.

  1. Enter input.
  2. Choose the settings for document language and direction auditor, then run the tool.
  3. Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.

Good to know

  • 100,000 source characters,20,000 nodes/60 levels and1000 detailed text-region examples.
  • Language support is browser Intl syntax plus a named private-use grammar, not the complete IANA registry. dir=auto remains unresolved; empty lang resets known-language evidence.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

Will the tool detect whether lang matches the actual prose?

No. It checks declarations and inheritance only; language identification and pronunciation require a separate review.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
