How to use Static Browser Display Patterns
Inspect simple controlled visual patterns without uploading an image or changing display settings. Choose a solid field, bars, grayscale steps or a grid and compare what you see. Each pattern is static, with no flashing, device scan or hardware access.
- Choose a static pattern and Run the local panel.
- Switch among the fixed fields, bars, grayscale and grid using the panel control.
- Compare visually and record your own observations; use the browser’s own fullscreen control separately if desired.
Good to know
- Exactly eight fixed patterns; no user HTML, SVG, CSS, URL, flashing or animation is accepted. The panel remains browser content and does not request fullscreen or device permissions.
- The browser, color management, zoom, operating system and display can change the result. CSS colors do not establish measured luminance, contrast calibration, color accuracy, physical pixels or a dead-pixel/hardware diagnosis.
- A grid is a visual reference, not a calibrated ruler. Existing display diagnostics and pixel-density calculators report different numeric source values. No automatic fault classification is made.
- No image is uploaded, screenshot captured, measurement stored automatically or display setting changed. Copy/Download records the chosen pattern description, not a calibrated screenshot.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Can this certify that my monitor has accurate colors or no faulty pixels?
No. It displays controlled static browser patterns for visual inspection. Certification requires appropriate measurement and a controlled workflow beyond this page.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
