How to use Day Count and Simple Accrual Workbench

Select Actual/360, Actual/365 Fixed, Actual/Actual ISDA or 30E/360 Eurobond. Convert the entered date interval into its exact year fraction, multiply by entered principal and annual rate, and inspect the boundary or per-year calculation.

  1. Use the example as the schema; replace its labels and entered model assumptions.
  2. Select Actual/360, Actual/365 Fixed, Actual/Actual ISDA or 30E/360 Eurobond. Convert the entered date interval into its exact year fraction, multiply by entered principal and annual rate, and inspect the boundary or per-year calculation.
  3. Calculate, inspect the complete witnesses and limitations, then copy or download the JSON report.

Good to know

  • Dates from 1900-01-01 through 9999-12-31 in forward or equal order, at most 36,600 actual calendar days apart. Principal is nonnegative whole-cent money at most 1,000,000,000. Entered annual percentage rates range from −100 through 1,000 with up to six decimal places.
  • Actual/Actual ISDA splits [from,to) into calendar years with 365 or 366 denominators. Actual/365 Fixed always divides by 365. 30E/360 Eurobond clips each day 31 to 30 and does not replace February month-end with 30; it is different from 30E/360 ISDA/German and US 30/360.
  • Simple noncompounded educational arithmetic only. The selected convention is your assumption, not a legal or market recommendation. No coupon calendar, business-day adjustment, taxes, fees, live rates or financial quote. Exact interest is primary; the two-decimal amount is an explicitly rounded display.
  • Local calculation with no upload, input persistence or outside lookup. Model JSON is limited to 30,000 characters and 10,000 values. Decimal quantities are strings with up to six places; count fields use plain JSON integers. Exact fractions are capped at 8,192 bits. The complete JSON output is limited to 1,000,000 characters; approximate numbers preserve their stored values. Unsupported states fail explicitly.

Common questions

Is Eurobond 30E/360 the same as German 30E/360 ISDA?

No. This tool’s Eurobond convention changes only a day numbered 31 to 30. The separately named ISDA/German convention has February-end and maturity rules and is not implemented. Choosing the wrong label can change an accrued amount.

Are my model inputs saved or sent to a server?

No. This model runs in the current browser tab and creates a local JSON download. It does not save your input or call an external data service.
