How to use CSV Calendar Range Expander
Prepare daily records from local interval data without guessing date formats or time zones. Each row keeps the original source values, the chosen endpoint convention is visible, and invalid or empty ranges never become invented observations.
- Enter input, start date column, end date column, new date column.
- Choose the settings for csv calendar range expander, then run the tool.
- Review the result and any limitations before copying or downloading it.
Good to know
- Strict YYYY-MM-DD Gregorian years 1–9999; 366 emitted days per source record, 5,000 expanded rows and 350,000 output cell characters checked before allocating expanded rows.
- Original CSV strings repeat with formula-prefix protection. report-skip explicitly omits invalid source records; zero-length exclude-end ranges produce no data row. This does not infer missing data, recurrence, occupancy rules, business days or a time zone.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Does the end date produce a row?
Only include-end emits that date. exclude-end stops before it and makes an equal-start/end range empty. Invalid and overlong ranges follow the explicit refusal or report-skip policy.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
