How to use Original Category Sorting Activity
Prepare a categorization activity from your own explicit groups. The student pages expose category labels and term cards while keeping the association key out of the omitted-key artifact; human review remains essential when terms can reasonably belong in several groups.
- Enter category names and original term arrays json.

Good to know
- 2–8 distinct category labels, 1–25 terms per category and at most 50 globally distinct term cards; 100 characters per category or term. Generated text is escaped and no external assets are loaded.
- Classification is supplied by the author, not inferred from word meaning. A hidden key is not embedded in the student artifact when omitted. Review ambiguous terms, readability and actual print pagination before use.
- Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.
Common questions
Can the same term be assigned to two categories?
This profile refuses duplicate exact term labels across the groups. Use clearly distinct cards or redesign the activity when multiple memberships are intended; it does not silently choose one category.
Is this input sent to a server?
No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
