How to use Appointment Handoff Test Matrix

A booking workflow needs explicit fixtures before it can promise a clean handoff. Check same-day local slots against real time-zone transitions and declared business hours without connecting a calendar.

  1. Enter authorized test fixtures, one named IANA zone and same-day local operating hours.
  2. Use unambiguous real local times; inspect UTC conversion, overlap and handoff findings.
  3. Run approved end-to-end calendar tests separately and confirm the actual invitation and human receipt.

Good to know

  • Browser Intl time-zone data drives conversion. Nonexistent spring-forward and ambiguous fall-back local times are refused; fixed UTC-8 is not used for Pacific daylight saving time.
  • One shared resource and same-day appointments only; no holidays, recurring schedules, overnight opening, capacity pools or calendar availability are inferred. Cancelled fixtures do not occupy a slot.
  • Each field is limited to 8,000 UTF-16 characters; CSV inputs use the exact displayed header and at most 100 data rows. Quoted commas, doubled quotes and quoted newlines are supported. Empty/duplicate identities, unsupported controls and unpaired surrogates are refused.
  • Exports are editable review records. Spreadsheet-like text is apostrophe-prefixed in CSV to reduce formula execution risk; inspect your actual spreadsheet/import settings before sharing.
  • Everything runs locally in your browser. No AI model, upload, provider account, calendar, call, video render, automatic outreach, publication or saved input. Enter only information you are authorized to process; declarations remain unverified.

Common questions

Does a consistent fixture mean a calendar booking exists?

No. This is local QA only. No availability is fetched, invitation is sent or calendar is changed.

Why refuse a repeated fall-back time?

A bare local HH:mm occurs twice during some clock changes. This input profile cannot identify which occurrence you intend, so it refuses an ambiguous fixture.
