How to use Agent Handoff Contract Checker

An agent-to-agent handoff needs an agreed payload contract. Inspect local fixtures for absent required values, unsupported types and undeclared fields before connecting the real systems.

  1. Declare a one-level contract with exact types and required fields for each handoff ID.
  2. Paste authorized pseudonymous JSON fixtures and inspect missing, wrong-type or undeclared fields.
  3. Agree the corrected contract with the actual sender and receiver; this tool connects or sends nothing.

Good to know

  • This is a restricted one-level field/type profile, not full JSON Schema, semantic validation, authorization or an agent runtime.
  • Payload nesting is limited to eight levels and 1,000 keys; prototype-related keys are rejected. Nested objects are bounded but not recursively schema-validated. JSON number tokens must be plain decimals within the same supported range and preserve their decimal value through parsing; use declared string fields for exponents or higher precision.
  • Each input field is limited to 8,000 UTF-16 characters and each exact-header CSV to 100 data rows. Quoted commas/newlines and doubled quotes are supported. Unsupported controls and unpaired surrogates are refused. Decimal magnitudes are at most 999,999,999 with a smallest nonzero magnitude of 0.000000001; exponents are refused and whole counts are checked exactly. Rational results show at most 18 fractional digits and an ellipsis when more remain.
  • Editable Markdown and long-form CSV both retain all summary metrics, context, detailed findings, entered source rows and scope limitations. CSV columns are Record type,Section,Source row,Field,Value; spreadsheet-looking text is apostrophe-prefixed. These are review artifacts, not proof of source truth or a completed real-world task.
  • Runs deterministically in this browser. No AI, API, vendor connection, upload, outreach, calendar change, payment, storage or background monitoring. Use authorized pseudonymous records; inspect exports before sharing.

Common questions

Will the string "3" satisfy a number field?

No. Types are exact and no coercion occurs. Optional fields may be absent, but a present optional field must have the declared type.

Are unknown fields discarded?

No. They remain in the review and export and hold the handoff until the contract is resolved.
