How to use Affine Coordinate Transform Composer

Homogeneous3×3 matrices act on column vectors. Listed operations apply in listed order; matrix composition uses compensated dot products. Inverse mode rejects singular or poorly conditioned linear parts before transforming points.

  1. Enter json numeric points [x,y], json ordered transform operations.
  2. Choose the stated convention and check the units and supported model.
  3. Calculate, inspect the result, then copy or download it.

Good to know

  • 1–1000numeric2D points,0–20data-only operations. rotate/skew angles in degrees within±1million; near-pole skew rejects. No raster editing, perspective warps, CSS animation or expression execution.
  • Runs locally. Text/JSON fields are capped at30,000 characters; stricter page-specific and numeric-string limits also apply. Numeric inputs are bounded to magnitude1e15 and nonzero magnitude at least1e-100 unless an exact-string mode states otherwise. Approximate summaries use12 significant digits; CSV numeric cells retain the complete stored value and potentially formula-like string cells gain a protective apostrophe; unsupported, non-finite or detected underflow states return an error.

Common questions

Does reversing the operation list preserve the result?

Usually not. For example, translating before rotating changes the pivot relationship. The output states the column-vector and operation-order convention.

Is the input uploaded or saved?

No. The tool calculates inside this browser tab and provides a local download; it does not persist your input.
