How to use Keyboard Section Widget Builder

Build a real small interactive section prototype rather than adding disconnected ARIA attributes to static markup. Related tabs and accordion profiles share one export workflow, with original text, distinct control/panel identities and a closed keyboard state model. The downloadable page binds its own trusted script and style bytes to SHA-256 policies; the tool site displays source text and never mounts your generated widget.

  1. Enter two to ten original plain-text sections and a single-line title; choose a distinct ASCII ID prefix.
  2. Choose automatic/manual horizontal tabs or single/multiple-open accordions, then build the complete artifact.
  3. Download and open the generated page, test its real keyboard and assistive-technology behavior, and review integration requirements before reusing it.

Good to know

  • At most 30,000 JSON characters, two to ten sections, a 160-character title, 80-character headings and 2,000 characters per body. Titles/headings are single-line. Body CRLF/bare CR normalize to LF. Unknown keys, duplicate JSON members, malformed Unicode and controls other than tab/CR/LF are refused. No user HTML, CSS, URLs or JavaScript is accepted as active content.
  • The ID prefix starts with an ASCII letter and contains at most 40 ASCII letters, digits, underscores or hyphens. All control/panel/label IDs derive from it and source order; identical visible labels do not collapse. Use a distinct prefix when reusing multiple exported components in another document.
  • Tabs are horizontal with first panel initially active. Arrow Left/Right wraps, Home/End moves to endpoints, and manual tabs activate through native Enter/Space or click. A focus departure resets the tab-list entry point to the active tab. Up/Down, modifiers, Tab/Shift+Tab and Escape are not intercepted. No popup menus, deletion or dynamic network panels are supported.
  • Accordions start with the first section open. Single mode allows at most one open and permits all closed; multiple mode permits several. Native buttons handle Enter/Space; optional Up/Down/Home/End navigation only changes header focus. No region role is added to every panel, avoiding a proliferation of landmarks.
  • The original standalone artifact initially exposes every text section with disabled controls, then installs only fixed trusted behavior. Script/style hashes are calculated from the exact generated bytes. Web Crypto SHA-256 is required. No app CSP change, sandbox embedding, user-source mounting, code evaluator, storage, permissions, external request, animation, timer or shared engine adapter is involved.
  • The generated code is a bounded prototype of selected APG interactions, not a full WCAG/APG conformance or browser/screen-reader certification. Real pointer/keyboard focus, CSP, mobile layout, no-script fallback, copied-code integration and assistive technology must be checked in their actual environment. Output is a complete HTML page, not a promise that pasting it into an arbitrary framework will work.
  • Processing is local. Output is limited to 1,000,000 text characters unless a stricter file limit is stated.

Common questions

Does the exported page execute my section text as HTML or JavaScript?

No. Your title, headings and body strings are escaped text in fixed markup. Only the original closed state functions and fixed installer run in the separate artifact, and its own policy hashes bind those exact script/style bytes. The utility page itself shows the artifact as source and a local download.

Is this input sent to a server?

No. The application processes this input inside your browser tab and does not save it to persistent storage.
