Research method and AI business evidence ledger

See the twenty screened candidates, selection limits, source grades and the distinction between business claims and ToolJovia experiments.

Four evidence levels

A · Independently verified
Credible independent records support the particular claim. Reprinting a founder's number is not independent financial verification.
B · Founder or official disclosure
The operator or vendor reports it. It remains self-reported even when widely covered.
C · Third-party estimate
An estimate must explain its method and limits. It is not first-party cash or profit.
D · Unverified or analysis
Not established in reviewed sources, or a clearly identified ToolJovia inference or proposed experiment. Unknown values stay null.

Why these ten cases?

We screened twenty candidates for original sources, a clear paid job and a useful connection to a local workbench. This is a purposive research sample with survivorship and selection bias, not a representative earnings survey. No selected financial result has been independently audited by ToolJovia.

Keep financial terms separate

Revenue, MRR, ARR, gross profit, net profit, financing and valuation occupy separate fields. We retain the stated period and source limitations. An affiliate program proves that a channel is offered, not that it produced a specific share of sales. Product capabilities do not establish customer satisfaction or typical results.

Twenty candidates; only the selected ten have case pages
BusinessDecisionEditorial reason / limitation
Photo AICandidate onlyReal product and founder identified, but first-customer/channel attribution and dated product-specific financial evidence remain incomplete; prioritize narrower, better documented workflows.
Interior AICandidate onlyClear workflow, but this review did not establish dated revenue, full costs or first-buyer acquisition. Avoid treating vendor claims about property sale uplift as evidence.
HeadshotProSelectedOfficial founder history, specific paid deliverable, current package terms and an explicit affiliate mechanism are available. Strong fit for a delivery/pricing workflow, with revenue still labelled founder/vendor-reported.
Formula Bot (now Better Analyst)SelectedAn original founder Q&A explains the initial problem, no-code build, first tester channels and monetization. Current official rebrand is verified. Strong evidence for a bounded data-service scope/quality tool without requiring a revenue headline.
TypingMindSelectedTwo original founder newsletters separate launch acquisition from later business sales, mixed one-time/recurring revenue and human sales work. Excellent fit for API economics and implementation scope tools.
AudioPenSelectedOriginal founder Q&A provides a traceable prototype, early testers, distribution, partial costs and explicit manual product work. The deliverable is clear and maps to an editable content workflow.
SiteGPTCandidate onlyOfficial delivery/pricing and a founder project log are verified, but the detailed first-customer and dated finance interview could not be fully retrieved. Keep as a strong reserve rather than repeat a second chatbot case prematurely.
PDF.aiCandidate onlyFounder ownership and current official V2 API units are verified, but revenue/acquisition retellings lack sufficiently direct supporting records in this pass. Useful technical reserve, not an income-proof headline.
ChatbaseSelectedAn original 2026 founder interview describes first sale, early channels, onboarding and the move from document Q&A to business agents. Current official pricing is concrete; useful for support economics and pilot-readiness tools.
ChatPDFCandidate onlyOriginal founder launch and a concrete cited-answer product are verified. Dated revenue, costs and exact first-sale evidence remain unavailable; do not substitute usage totals or a similarly named extension.
CastmagicSelectedRecording-to-deliverables workflow, original disclosure and practical content-service planning fit.
ReziSelectedOriginal founder origin/distribution account and narrow deliverable suit a truthful evidence checklist.
Fireflies.aiCandidate onlyConcrete workflow, but meeting-product overlap and permission/integration demands; no verified income claim here.
FathomCandidate onlyUseful meeting knowledge model but overlaps Fireflies; exact applicable plan values need toggle confirmation.
Aragon AISelectedSpecific visual deliverable, clear packages and named organizational case; useful for local asset QA/costing.
Fyxer AISelectedService-to-software origin and named workflow support an admin-time experiment without mailbox permissions.
BardeenCandidate onlyData automation fit; founder financial/acquisition evidence thin here, and scraping adds constraints.
JasperCandidate onlyProduct evidence strong but enterprise scope and content overlap; study governance rather than clone.
Copy.aiCandidate onlyOriginal paid-launch account strong; reserve to avoid content-workflow overlap and respect unclear recurring-revenue period.
BannerbearSelectedFounder operations/pricing evidence; explicit automation-adjacent label avoids false AI revenue causation.
