AI automation: measure the reviewed workflow

Compare the whole workflow, including exceptions and checking, before promising time savings.

Observe the baseline

Count actual tasks and human minutes in a defined period. Record handling and rework separately. Fyxer illustrates an assistant product, while Bannerbear shows a template-automation business whose historical revenue cannot be attributed to AI.

Design the exception path

Specify what is automated, which data is permitted, who reviews the result and what happens when it fails. Before connecting a customer's email or CRM, confirm their authorization and handling requirements.

Separate time from cash

Hours released are capacity, not automatically payroll savings. Enter the portion that can actually be converted into reduced cost or useful billable delivery. Include setup and monthly subscriptions.

Set the release gate

Use a representative sample with declared error categories. A zero-error tiny sample is not proof of reliability. Keep a human path for decisions the automated workflow cannot support.
